Twin Kell Cleaners was established in 1989 by twin brothers Kent and Kevin Kell. The name Kell has been synonymous with dry-cleaning since 1932 when Tom and Oleta Kell opened Kell Cleaners in east Fort Worth. Their son Jack took over operations in the 60's and propelled Kell into one of the top textile maintenance companies around. The third generation specialists continue that tradition today.
Kevin serves as a director with the Southwest Drycleaners Association. He currently is chairman of the legislative and regulatory committee of the eight state region. He also serves on the small business advisory committee of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
Twin Kell has passed a rigorous set of cleaning evaluations to achieve the 2007 Award of Excellence for quality garment cleaning and customer service, a prestigious international award given by the clothing care council. To date Twin Kell Cleaners is the first Fort Worth dry cleaner and one of only five companies in Texas to qualify for the Award of excellence. Kevin is also a certified Garment Care Professional, having earned all three of drycleaning and laundry institutes professional certificates- Certified Environmental Drycleaners, Certified Professional Drycleaners, and Certified Professional Wetcleaner. That distinction makes Twin Kell Cleaners the first triple certified, Award of Excellence Dry Cleaner in Texas and one of only 20 CGCP/Aoe establishments in the U.S.
